Google unveiled it's new knowledge website called 'Knol' which is obviously short for knowledge- the brainchild of Udi Manber of Google. The new system is a potential threat to Wikipedia. Knol pages are "meant to be the first thing someone who searches for this topic for the first time will want to read", according to Manber.

Anybody think 'Knol' has the capacity and potential to overtake the slick Wikipedia? Do send me your inputs at Google nowadays wants to get into and lead almost every kind/platform of the Internet!
